This is a community football academy in Hertfordshire. For Oliver, it was easy to play there because the academy is located close to Richard Hale – his school.
Before joining a professional academy, the youngster (just like Ademola Lookman) excelled in Sunday League football with Bengeo Tigers. While there, he got his first medal.
Labelled as the best star in Bengeo Tigers, his achievement with the Hertfordshire academy attracted Tottenham football scouts.
The club’s management successfully convinced Oliver Skipp’s parents to make their son join them via a trial.
Life at Spurs Academy:
Following a successful trial, Oliver Skipp joined Tottenham Hotspur academy in the year 2013. This is the earliest photo we found of him – in a Tottenham shirt alongside his teammates.

As Skip grew up, there came this strong ambition to play for the national team, especially representing England at a tournament.
