Jordan Henderson Childhood Story – Early Life and Family Background:
Jordan Brian Henderson was born on the 7th day of June 1990 in Tyne and Wear, Sunderland, the United Kingdom to his mother, Liz Henderson (fitness teacher) and father, Brian Henderson (retired police officer).
Jordan was schooled at Farringdon Community Sports College. He dropped out to join Sunderland as a youngster (age 6). Both Jordan and his parents were all hardcore Sunderland fan.
At age 7, little Jordan began to operate as both a striker and a right-winger. He later converted to a central midfielder, a role he continued till his adulthood.
He was an integral part of the Black Cats U18 side which clinched back-to-back league titles.
In January 2009, Henderson joined Championship club Coventry City on a one-month loan deal. After picking up an injury, a fracture to the fifth metatarsal bone in his foot, he returned to Sunderland in April 2009.
On 9 June 2011, Henderson was transferred to Liverpool for an undisclosed fee, thought to be between £16 and £20 million.

He was diagnosed with the disease in November 2013 as Medics discovered a tumour in his neck. This discovery was made when he was having a cyst removed.
Further tests revealed he had a carcinoma of his throat and a tumour on his tongue.
Brian Henderson delayed breaking the news to Jordan son during a vital time when the Reds launched an unexpected title challenge. He told his son just before he was about to have surgery on his throat and tongue in the early months of 2014.
After breaking the sad news, Brain begged Jordan not to worry, instead, he should concentrate on putting in as many Man of the Match performances as he could.
Brian, who later recovered from the disease, said: “It was a very emotional time when I had to break the news to the family.”

Jordan as a boy once claimed he met Ryan Giggs on a Majorcan beach in Spain. In his words…

Jordan Henderson was once informed that there is no medical cure for the heel injury that once forced him to miss three months of Liverpool’s 2015 season.

“It’s been incredibly difficult, not just for me but for the staff as well. With my metatarsal I knew exactly what kind of time scale I’d be out for.
