Spanish Baller, Pedro had a late start in football (aged 16). His youth career began in 2003 when he first joined the San Isidro Academy, where he played till 2004.

In 2004, he got the attention of the FC Barcelona academy. Pedro completed the trial at the club, and they invited him afterwards to enter the Catalan club academy.

He continued his studies at the academy and played for the club’s youth team till 2005.

The year 2005 went well for him as he was offered a professional contract, which he signed, and a place in the club’s third team. Between 2005-2007, Pedro Rodríguez became one of the third team’s main players.

The young Spaniard’s impressive displays enabled him to play for the club’s second team starting in 2007, where he scored more goals.

In 2009/2010, Pedro became the first player in history to score in six different club competitions in a single year, a record only matched by Lionel Messi, who did it in 2011.

In total, Pedro played a total of 321 official games for Barcelona’s first team, scoring 99 goals and providing an astonishing 46 assists, of which more than 50% (25) went to Messi.

Pedro was the 10th Spaniard to ever play for Chelsea FC in the English Premier League.
