For Biography starters, Football Legend, Radamel Falcao García Zárate, was born on the 10th of February 1986 in Santa Marta, Colombia.

Radamel Falcao was born to his Father, Radamel García, a former footballer and his Mother, Carmenza Zárate, a housekeeper.

Upon his birth, his dad decided to name him ‘Falcao’ based on his passion for ex-Brazilian midfielder Paulo Alberto Falcao. He is not a member of his family.

Ideally, the name Falcao was never used by any member of his family in history. Growing up, he saw his dad playing football and requested for the same size of football to be at his feet even while he could only crawl.

As a kid, his father remembers “Little Radamel would always come to me crying I should teach him to play football.”

After a tryout with Amsterdam’s AFC Ajax at age 11, the talented youngster made his debut with Colombian second-tier club Lanceros Boyacá as a 13-year-old.

He joined the youth system of Club Atlético River Plate in Buenos Aires, Argentina, at age 15, where his tenacity earned him the nickname “El Tigre” (“The Tiger“) from his teammates. Here, he is seen to have grown up to be a handsome boy with a fine open tooth.

He continued his development with Argentina’s Club Atlético River Plate before moving to  F.C. Porto in Portugal and Atlético Madrid in Spain, where he finished fifth in the Ballon d’Or voting in 2012.

Meet Lorelei Taron, she is the wife of Radamel Falcao. Lorelei Dahaiana Taron as born on June 17, 1988; in Jardin America, Provincia de Misiones in Argentina to German parents.

Lorelei ever since the age of 4. She is a renowned graduate of the IUNA Conservatory and the Contemporary School of Music located in Argentina.

Lorelei met her husband Falcao at a Christian Church in Argentina, where both were members.

He asked her out, but she refused. Falcao asked her out over and over again; however, she turned him down each time.

One of his great-grandfathers was born in North Yorkshire, making Falcao partially of English descent. His father attempted to secure a British passport for his son because of this, but the request was rejected.

While some Colombia fans lit candles, others sent death threats to Monts d’Or Azergues defender Soner Ertek despite publicly apologizing to Falcao via Twitter.

Soner Ertek is the defender who injured Falcao and made him not to go to Brazil’s 2014 FIFA World Cup.

Before Radamel Falcao underwent an operation on his injured cruciate ligaments on Saturday, the Columbian sent a message to Ertek on Twitter.

The tweet roughly translates to:  “Soner Ertek, thanks for your posts. Do not blame yourself; accidents happen in football.”
