Vlatko Andonovski Bio – Road to Fame Story:

After making an impression in a football academy in Macedonia, Vlatko Andonovski attracted several offers. Each of them asked for a transaction involving the two parties. Throughout six football seasons, he appeared as a central defender for FK Rabotniki, Makedonija GP, and FK Vardar.

He competed in the Intertoto Cup, European Cup, and First Macedonian Football League. Following his 2000 transfer to the National Professional Soccer League, Vlatko Andonovski received his big break. He received a contract to play for the Wichita Wings at 24. 

Vlatko made an impression after just one season. Before hanging his boots, he proceeded to don the colours of the Major Indoor Soccer League’s Philadelphia Kixx, California Cougars, and Kansas City Comets. 

He won Defender of the Year honours with the Comets in 2002 and Team MVP honours in 2005. Also, the defender was MISL All-Star twice.

On February 8, 2015, he teamed up with Kim Rantved, the Wichita Wings’ formal head coach, for one game. They both come out of retirement to face off against one another for their respective teams on the field.
