Yes, everyone knows about his abilities, but few consider Isco’s Biography, which is quite interesting. Now, without further ado, let’s dive into the meat and potatoes of this article.

Isco Childhood Story – Early Life and Family Background:

For Biography starters, Francisco Román Alarcón Suárez, best known as ‘Isco’, was born on the 21st of April, 1992, in Benalmádena, Spain. Here is a photo of Isco in his childhood days.

The Spaniard was born to his mother, Jenny Suárez (a housewife) and father, Paco Alarcón (a former hotel worker and, presently, his son’s manager). He grew up with his elder brother, Antonio Carlos Alarcón.

Just like English’s Jack Wilshere, Isco was born with bow legs. He was also overweight during his childhood time.

This overweightness never helped the straightening of his legs. Only a little of his bow-legged curvature was corrected as he began to grow.

Back then as a child, Isco was known to never allow his physical condition to limit his dreams of becoming a footballer.

He fought his way to overcome his overweightness before registering in his first youth club. His motivation to be a footballer came from his elder brother, who lost his football career at an early age because of an injury.

Isco Biography – Career in Summary:

The career summary of Isco focuses on major writing points as to how Isco defied all odds to become one of the greatest midfielders of modern-day football.

In 1997, Isco got himself registered at PDM Benalmádena’s first youth club after getting the necessary support from his parents.

Support here also includes Isco having an educational background. He played for them and studied at the same time.

While playing, it became obvious that Isco’s dribbling and running style was different from anyone else. His bow-legged nature, which was feared for hindering his career, miraculously became an added advantage to his skill.

In fact, the shape of his legs, which was also different, made him move differently and helped him deliver good results. Thanks to his progress, another youth club named Atlético Benamiel attained his services.

Rise to Fame:

Isco’s progress at Atlético Benamiel from 1999 to 2006 was smooth. However, there was an issue with scouts from bigger clubs being afraid to give him a call. A close childhood friend and a fan of Isco once revealed…

“Ever since I was a kid, I used to say to myself: ‘If Isco doesn’t make it, we’ll never know anyone who does’ – I saw Isco was special.

The funny thing was, at the time, there were scouts constantly watching him, but no one used to call him, [people] used to say it’s because of the bandy legs, [or] he’s too slow. Well, I don’t think he did badly.”

It was Valencia who took the bold step to sign Isco. He played for Valencia B, making 52 appearances and scoring 16 Goals from 2009 to 2011.

Isco became a hot cake during his Valencia B days. This was when he saw the last days of his youth career.

Isco only played four matches for Valencia’s senior squad before accepting a transfer to Manuel Pellegrini’s Malaga. The club released a statement after his acquisition.

If his bow legs were initially the reason why he wasn’t marketed,…then it shouldn’t have been.

I don’t care when Isco walks down the road, I don’t care when Isco walks with his dog; I only care how he plays,” says Antonio Fernández, the sporting director who signed Isco for Málaga from Valencia, just as he was turning 19.

Isco Relationship Life:

Starting off, Isco is known not only for his on-field techniques but also for being a great performer off-field. He is known for his simple personal life, which he manages from a professional angle.
